PWA Maker for Media Buyers: How PWA-X Builds and Runs Apps

You run Facebook traffic to a casino, betting or nutra offer, and a plain landing page gives every click one chance: the visitor reads, closes the tab and is gone. A PWA leaves an icon on their phone and a push channel to bring them back. This review covers what a PWA does in affiliate marketing, how PWA-X, a PWA maker built for media buyers, puts one together, what it costs on its own price list, and what to check before you top up.

What a PWA is, and why buyers use it instead of a landing page

A PWA (Progressive Web App) is a website the browser lets people install like an app. Installed, it gets a home-screen icon, opens full screen with no address bar, shows cached content offline and can send push notifications. It is never published to the App Store or Google Play, so there is no store review either.

For a buyer, the difference is what happens after the first visit. A landing page lives as long as the tab is open. A PWA stays on the device: the user opens it from the icon, and a push brings them back to the offer a day or a week later. That is why the chain of a Facebook ad, an install page and the offer inside the PWA became routine in iGaming affiliate marketing, where revenue comes from repeat deposits, and in nutra, where the visitor has to reach the order form. The PWA casino funnel is the familiar case, and the logic holds in any vertical that lives on a second visit.

PWA vs native app

A native app needs a developer, a store listing and store approval, and the stores restrict gambling apps heavily. A PWA is a site: one build installs on Android, iOS and desktop, with no store in between. The price is fewer device features and a manual install step on iPhone.

What PWA-X is

PWA-X is a no-code PWA builder. According to the service, it is made for media buyers, affiliate marketers and traffic arbitrage teams: an app is generated from an AI template, while push, analytics and a custom domain are built into the dashboard. PWA-X says it is operated from Ukraine. The site runs in seven languages, and the dashboard at app.pwa-x.com is available in English, Ukrainian and Russian.

What you get from this PWA maker

AI templates and branding

You describe the app in plain words, and the generator builds a template you can preview on different devices. Then you upload a logo (the 192×192 and 512×512 icons are generated for you), pick colours, a splash screen, a name and a description. You can also start from scratch without a template.

PWA push notifications

Every PWA comes with push: automated, manual and trigger-based campaigns. You switch push on in the dashboard settings and set the icon, colour and text there; the PWA asks for permission on the first visit. According to PWA-X's blog, push stats cover open rate, CTR, conversion rate, unsubscribe rate and opt-in rate.

Analytics

A real-time dashboard shows installs, engagement, retention, push results and conversions. Reports can be exported, and the data is available through the API.

Custom domains

You publish on a PWA-X subdomain or on your own domain with whitelabel. The service covers domain registration, DNS management and the SSL certificate, and you can connect a domain you already own.

Postback and webhooks

Events go out through an API for postback and webhook integration. PWA-X's blog names Binom, Keitaro, RedTrack and Voluum as trackers to connect by postback and UTM. Test the event flow on a throwaway app first.

PWA-X pricing

There is no subscription: you pay as you go, in USD. Prices at the time of writing (October 2026):

  • Creating a PWA: 1 USD, one-time per app. According to the price list, this includes the AI template, subdomain hosting, analytics and push.
  • Custom domain: from 2 USD per domain.
  • Installs: 0.03 USD in Tier 1, 0.02 USD in Tier 2 and 0.01 USD in Tier 3.

According to PWA-X, you pay only for real installs. By its own calculation, 10,000 installs plus the app fee come to 101 USD in a Tier 3 country and 301 USD in a Tier 1 country. Two things the price list leaves open: which countries sit in which tier, and whether the domain is paid once or every year (the price list calls it one-time, while the service's pricing article mentions a renewal). Ask about both in the dashboard. PWA-X may change prices with notice on the site or in the dashboard.

How to start: five steps

  1. Sign up at PWA-X with email or Telegram. According to the service, registration is free.
  2. Click Create PWA and describe the app in plain words, or start from a blank template.
  3. Add a logo, colours, a splash screen, a name and a description, and preview the result on different devices.
  4. Turn on push, set up analytics and the postback to your tracker.
  5. Choose a PWA-X subdomain or your own domain, pay to publish, and take the link for your ads.

A PWA for affiliate marketing starts with the ad account

The PWA handles what happens after the click. The click comes from an ad account, and no PWA fixes that part: an account that hits a checkpoint on day one brings no installs. For a test, take several Facebook accounts or farmed accounts, so one account going down does not stop the whole launch. For steady volume, look at agency ad accounts; how they differ from your own Business Manager is covered in Business Manager vs agency ad account.

One account, one anti-detect browser profile, one proxy (the browsers are compared in top anti-detect browsers of 2026). Handle the first days as described in how to avoid a Facebook checkpoint. Other PWA services from our catalogue are on the PWA partners page.

Limitations to weigh first

  • Top up for a test. Money on the balance is non-refundable, so start with enough for one test campaign rather than a month's budget.
  • Ask about geos and the domain. The install fee depends on the geo tier (Tier 1–3). Before launch, check in the dashboard or ask support which tier your countries fall into, and whether the domain is a one-time fee or needs renewing.
  • Meta's rules still apply. A PWA does not change ad policy: the page your ad leads to goes through Meta's review. Gambling ads need Meta's prior written permission and are not allowed in every country. PWA-X's own terms also forbid content that breaks a traffic source's rules.
  • Test on an iPhone. On iOS the app is installed by hand from the Share menu, and push works only once it has been added to the home screen. Walk through the install yourself before sending iOS traffic.
  • Measure on your own traffic. Run the same offer through the PWA and a regular landing page, and compare the conversion you actually get.

FAQ

What is a PWA maker?

A service that builds an installable web app without code, with template, icons, push and hosting in one dashboard.

Why send casino traffic to a PWA and not a landing page?

A landing page gets one visit. A PWA stays on the phone, and push brings the player back without paying for a second click. Only a test on your own offer shows whether it pays off.

How much does one PWA cost on PWA-X?

At the time of writing (October 2026): 1 USD one-time per app, from 2 USD per custom domain and 0.01–0.03 USD per install depending on the country tier.

Is there a free trial?

The site says registration is free but publishes no trial or starting-credit terms. Check in the dashboard before you top up.
